The Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence is obtained by completing the program's 36 credit hour course requirements (12 courses, each worth 3 credit hours). Of these credit hours, 21 are core courses and 15 are elective courses. Students must complete both the core and concentration elective course credit requirements for the Master's degree.
To be eligible for the graduate degree, students must meet the following minimum requirements:
Minimum Course Success Grade: B- (CGPA 3.00)
Total Required Credits: 36
In addition:
Students enrolled in the graduate program must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 4.00 scale and must achieve at least 2.7 (B-) in all courses.
The Maximum Time Frame (MTF) determined for completing the Master's program is 54 credit hours.
A graduate student may transfer a maximum of 9 credit hours earned at accredited institutions.
To understand the scientific theories and methodologies of artificial intelligence and machine learning trends used to design and implement AI-based processes and products.
To be able to create AI solutions that can overcome digital challenges in various fields by applying the fundamentals and models of machine learning and deep learning.
To be able to use various AI and Machine Learning tools to analyze, develop, and optimize AI algorithms for new and existing digital products.
To be able to develop reliable and scalable AI-based applications using the latest methods and technologies to ensure usability, accessibility, integrity, and security.
To address ethical issues in information solutions, project management, and information systems decisions by communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
To evaluate the technical knowledge and skills for various globally recognized professional technology certifications in the industry, such as Certified Artificial Intelligence Engineer (CAIE™) and AIE™ Certification.
To understand the role of responsible citizenship in the legitimate use of technology and digital data.
